Incredible, museum quality Himalayan Quartz with water clear crystals packed with rutile. The main cluster sits on a matrix covered in chlorite filled mini points, and accents of sparkling Anatase crystals bedazzle the crystals. This whole piece sparkles like green diamonds. Himalayan Quartz: Himalayan (Samadhi) Quartz has long been some of the most desirable Quartz in the world for its beauty and difficulty to obtain. This variety of Quartz is mined by hand along the Himalayan mountain range, at elevations of 14,000-18,000 feet. No machinery can make the trek, so pieces are mined by hand with small tools that can be carried up in a back pack, and then carried back down (a multiple day hike) by the miners. It is claimed to be one of the highest vibrational crystals due the the high altitudes in which it forms.
