Polish Flint is known for its incredibly beautiful banding. It forms in concretions, or large nodules, in Jurassic limestone and is estimated to be 160 million years old. During the Neolithic Period, about 5000-3500 years ago, flint was used for the production of axes, arrowheads, knives, and other tools.
These shivas have been carved from the highest quality flint with intricate banding.
