Kämmererite is a chromium-bearing variety of Clinochlore exhibiting deep magenta to crimson red colors and sharp terminations. Kämmererite rarely crystallizes, and the only known mine to produce this material was closed indefinitely in 2008, making pieces of the material incredibly difficult to come by today. This specimen was mined in 1992 and has incredible color, both in its crystals and matrix.
